Now more than ever, it’s important to pay attention to how much time you are looking at your screen.
Have you ever tracked how much time you spend on your phone?
Screen time is something I always battled with until recently. I always used the excuse of being a business owner who needed it to survive.
To a certain extent, yes…but mostly wrong. So so wrong.
I had enough.
I finally took the step. If you watched my video from Day 9, you’ll know that I unfriended almost everyone on my personal Facebook page. I unfriended family, old high school & college friends, sorority sisters, old co-workers, students, peers, etc. The only friends remaining are my immediate family.
I needed to do this for me. I won’t go into details today, but I am sure you can understand.
Facebook has become this thing that we use to determine whether or not we are “friends” with people. We give it and other social apps too much power over us. We allow it to dictate to us on whether or not we are living our best life by comparing to others or worse…how many “likes” our posts get.
We are wasting hours of our day in these social media traps.
Don’t get me wrong…I am SO fortunate we have Facebook. It has brought the most amazing women into my life. I still have my public page but, I use it in ways to connect and assist incredible women around the world…like in my 21 Day Challenge.
Cat’s 21 Day Challenge, Day 10
Cat’s 21 Day Challenge, Day 10: I give you tips and tricks I have learned that can help cut down your screen time in half.
It isn’t too late to join the challenge. I will see you tonight at 7:30 CST here for Day 11.
I also shared yesterday the incredible video some of the gorgeous women from my troupe, The Va Va Voom! put together to promote the online studio. It is AMAZING! You can take a peek here. Once you do, can you give the ladies a little bit of love?
Thank you for being on this journey with me.
